Hello all,
I want to apologize for the confusion regarding last nights mix-up. The meetup website has started automatically scheduling the meetups somehow. I thought that it was some sort of "smart" system that looked at our past meetups and scheduled the new ones to match the pattern. Unfortunately, when it scheduled the last one (the one last night) I failed to realize that the date was only one week apart instead of two.
Currently we are intending to have meetups every other week. The last meetup that we attended was on Jan. 30th. That would put our next official meetup on Feb. 13th. I am really sorry that i didn't catch that mistake before some of you made the effort to meet. I will try and figure out if I can turn off the automated scheduling thing in hopes of avoiding future confusion. In the meantime I will try and clean up the calendar a bit.
With that said, our next official meetup is on Feb. 13th at 7:00PM. We are currently looking for another venue as this date may be Dobra's open mic night, which isn't the very conducive to focused conversation. If anybody has any ideas for a good place that we could meet, it might be nice to try something different.
I hope that everyone is doing well. Once again, I am very sorry for the mix-up. I am looking forward to seeing everyone again at the next meetup.
