Smoke Signals

Hello all,
  Sorry to spam your in baskets with this but I couldn't find a
message board area within our meetup group.  As you probably know we
had a meeting scheduled for today and a number of people had responded
that they would be there. I went and realized that while Josh had
volunteered to wear his hat when he went  we didn't have another way
of identifying ourselves when he didn't go. As a result, after not
seeing anyone I recognized, I left at 7:30.  I figured the weather
kept people away but I also  hoped that there wasn't someone else
waiting for me to show up!

 The easy answer would of course be for people to post their picture,
however there are many excellent reasons not to, so I think we should
come up with another way. What about placing the menu book vertically
while we wait for people to arrive ?   That smoke signal should be
pretty visible across the room.
