Why: Because more perspectives brings more depth and more meaning. . .
Event Description: Hey all,
Its getting time for a another meetup. I wasn't sure what topic to make this meetup about. . . so, since the presidential primaries are such a hot topic these days and a general buzz of politics is in the air, I thought that we could try to get deep and meaningful about our country's future.
Now, I know that politics can be a touchy subject, complete with some very passionate opinions. Conversations can consequently get a bit heated. This will be fine as long as we all remember our principles of Bohmian Dialogue. I am anticipating some new members at this conversation, so it will be good to start our conversation off with a small Dialogue refresher. From there I am excited to see where it goes.
I am eager to hear other peoples opinions about the different presidential candidates. However, I also think that it might be fun to dig a little deeper than just who is the better candidate. Perhaps we could look at how politics are done in this country. Perhaps we could critically examine our current presidents time in office. Perhaps we could contemplate what changes in the political system would make our country better off for the generations to come.
Anyways, thats just a thought. I hope to see some new faces at this meetup. We have been having such a good time recently in our conversations that I would love to share the fun with a few new acquaintances.
