I just had a comment about the reminders: It seems that you send them one or two days before the event, and yes, I think it is a too short of a notice. How about having one the week before (Wednesday or Friday) and another one on the Monday or Tuesday before. You can set them up as recurrences. We can ask the others during the meeting.

Hello all,

I just wanted to apologize for my lack of communication over the holidays. As you all know the holidays can get pretty busy. I just posted an update to the meetup scheduled for this Wednesday, Jan. 2nd. Sorry for the short notice. I'll be there and I hope that many of you can make it. For those that can't, our next meetup will be scheduled for Jan. 16th.

Once again, I want to invite you all to let me know if the dates and times are working out for you. Being that we are entering a new year I would like to make this group more accessible and convenient for everyone. If there is anything that I can do, please let me know.
