Okay, we have enough people signed up that it looks like we can hold a meeting!
I thought that everyone should know where Horizon Books is located (Downtown Traverse City). It has a coffeehouse in the basement and should have enough room for our group. I was keeping the same day (this coming Monday).
I'll be the tall, bald, geeky looking guy... but I'll also put out a sign that says "Freethought Meetup".
I think that this first meeting should just be to see what people want out of the group... what our hopes and expectations are... as well as set up times/dates/locations for future meetings.
If you can't make the meeting, please let me know ahead of time. I'd hate to sit there for a couple of hours without anyone showing up ;)
