"The group seems cohesive and happy. Ray, as an affable host, strung together the many points raised into a web of complimentary rather than contradictory viewpoints. It was good to carry on the discussion and some chit-chat over drinks. See you again soon. :)"

About this Meetup

This is not a group where you must have read Plato, Descartes or Wittgenstein. (Who?!)

You can get very formal about philosophy and people make a living at that.

Nor do you need a degree in Psychology - but an interest in what makes people tick will help.

For many of us, it is more about our ability to ask interesting questions about Life, the Universe and Everything. To think critically and constructively. To expand our sense of understanding (or at least to believe we are doing so).

Mostly it is about the chance to bounce ideas and concepts off other people who are similarly addicted to this bizarre pursuit.

The atmosphere is tolerant and open minded so that everyone has a chance to air their views. It is a social event and not an evening class.

So why not give it a try. smile
