Meet other local amateur Philosophers to discuss the world and what we know about it.

We can discuss all manner of things philosophic.Meet other local amateur Philosophers (is there any other kind?) to discuss the world and what we know about it.

We can discuss all manner of things philosophic.
Bring in a topic, or start it by email.

We can begin our meeting about 7pm. If you can't be here at that time, no worries, come when you can.

Since we have gone on a bit, I invite you to bring something to munch upon, maybe a bit to share. There are markets, a Trader Joes, and other eateries nearby.

We can discuss classic philosophical models, religion, politics, ethics, jokes, and life or death issues.
I'd only ask that those with an agenda, those who need an audience, please bore elsewhere.

We meet at That Yarn Store (in Eagle Rock)
See thatyarnstore.com or email me for directions or if you have any questions.

Ars longa, vita brevis. Glad to know I'm not the only one still on a quest in L.A. Just finished reading Viktor Frankl's book, "Man's Search for Meaning". Now I'm reading "Flow" by a guy whose last name I simply can't figure out how to pronounce. Does anybody know who I'm talking about?
