  •  Marci, thanks for demonstrating your commitment to sustainability by signing up. Even if you don't make it to the meetup, we welcome your Zen consciousness and whatever degree of involvement you choose.

  •  Sounds like a very interesting background! Come meet and discuss philosophy with me!!!!

  •  Hi Marci,
I think it was the sense of humor with the name of the group etc. and the blunt honesty of the intentions of the group. Im not a shy person per se- I just hate most of the people I know. hahahah just kidding.

  •  Hi Marci, Thanks for the shout out. It's actually a scooby doo doll wearing a pumpkin suit and when you squeeze him he says "I love chocolate!"

  •  LOL nice shout out to me. The pic was after the Ravens Eagles game. The shoe was being held by Jevon Kearse who I cut out of my pic. Some kid gave it to him to autograph while I asked him for a pic. Those are footballs coming out of my head and a green boa for the Eagles. Now where's your pictures? :-)

  •  Hey Marci. Thanks for the warm welcome. I hope to meet you at one of our ASStastic events in the near future. ASS...the name that just keeps on giving.

  •  Hi, Marci. Thanks for the shout. Sorry I'm slow to shout back! I'm definitely left of center if on my feet & probably a little cross-eyed, too.

  •  Hey Marci,
I got a shout out from you at the end of Sept, and for some reason I never got a notice about... Yeah, I will have to stop being an ass and start meeting some ASSes!

  •  Hi, Marci! Thanks for the welcome! The photo was taken at the Petrified Forest in Sonoma County, California. The bear is petrified (like anyone approached by him.... ha ha). Check out the website.... http://www.petrifiedforest.org/

  •  Hi Marci
Looks can be deceiving. We may appear sweet and cuddly but our bite is to die by.......really just a pussy cat ; ^ )

  •  Weird...Imagine that - an ASS doesn't like to plan get-together-s??? No way!

  •  Hey Marci. Yep I graduated from Cornell (undergrad) about a year ago...i was an engineering physics major, but genetics is one of the bio subjects i find really interesting...are you doing any genetics research?

  •  Hi Marci, Well I?m certainly not curmudgeon, but been known to be somewhat sarcastic, in fact most people don?t know how to take me. But I do enjoy a good time laughing with or at other people! Looking forward to meeting up with this group of ASSes. Hope to see you soon!

  •  Hey there! I was on a beach and had too many margaritas! What else is there to say. It gets peoples attention though - good conversation starter and it weeds out the perves.

  •  Hey there! First of all, I've been in the area for just over a year, and still haven't met many good friends, but on top of that I'm always looking for people that can give and receive a good bit of sarcasm and sarcastic humor and quick wit without getting their feelings hurt! Seriously though, just looking to meet some good friends and have a good time. I can't wait till work slows down so I can come to some of the functions! =0)

  •  Hi Marci, thanks for your shout; I'm kind of new to this thing. I'm an ASS because I've never been part of any mainstream cool-crowd for long as I remember and have eclectic social contacts. I kind of wonder what it'll be like to meet w/ a group of ppl who claim to be anti-social. At least it kind of takes the pressure off :P

  •  Hey Marci, just kidding about the Geezeritus stuff. Actually I'm a pretty active guy. Sorry I couldn't make the wine event. I took a four day weekend, drove a NASCAR racer Thurs, went backpacking in PA, Fri./Sat. went the Linganore winefest Sat afternoon and hosted a walk/brunch at my place for the Annapolis Walking Group Sun. I'm glad to be back to work so I can get some rest. I hope the make the next event. Looking forward to meeting you and others in the group, Bill :-)

  •  Hey, Marci, thanks so much for your exuberant welcome! That made my day. I will try to find out how far away the meetup is and see if i can make it.

  •  MARCI, THANKS FOR THE WELCOME. I WISH THAT I COULD SAY THAT I TOOK THE PHOTOGRAPH BUT, I DIDN'T. MY FRIEND KNOWS THAT I LOVE NATURE SO SHE SENT ME THIS PICTURE IN AN EMAIL. I THOUGHT THAT THE PICTURE WAS AWSOME SO I USED IT. DEVON
