About The Boston Philosophy of Mind Group

This is for folks interested in discussing the philosophy of mind, particularly the so-called "hard problem" -- how can we reconcile (what seems to be) the physical/objective world with (what seems to be) the mental/subjective world?

The various perspectives found from analytic philosophy, physical/cognitive sciences, artificial intelligence and the like should at least be taken as a framework for discussion, even if the path winds up going far beyond that. A good and easily available resource is the online Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy
