What is the meaning or purpose of life? In other words, why does the universe exist?
I think we are a part of God's way of experiencing the universe. To live fully we need to express our own individuality, but we also need to seek harmony with the world around us. I think the way to mediate between those two opposing goals is through relationship with God.
How do you live your beliefs in daily life?
I'm always seeking for ways to create more harmony in the world, which I think will come when we learn how to resolve the conflict between self-interest and social spirit. Philosophy Meetup is a means to that end for me.
Does the world reflect your beliefs? Why or why not?
I think the world is critically out of balance, and that we need to discover new ways of coexisting before we destroy ourselves.
