We're open for topics for the next meetup. Please feel free to email us or post to the message board if you have a suggestion.

New people are always welcome, and no philosophy training is needed. We always find something interesting to discuss even if we don't come up with a topic beforehand. So come, bring a friend and if you like philosophy --or deep conversation --you're sure to have a good time and probably make some friends.

Meetup.com requires a $9 fee every month for their services. If you enjoy the meetups, feel free to help Steve defray this cost (strictly voluntary!)

Note: Please RSVP so we can notify the venue how many people to expect. We've had large groups the last several months, so this is important!

    • “ I think the topic introduced by Corey was not a good one for this group. Even though some of us have degrees in philosophy, the majority do not. The topic was far too arcane and required familiarity with certain tenets and texts with which many of us are not acquainted or are controversial. I think we need to steer clear of such topics, at least in the form presented by Corey. Hardly anyone knew what he was talking about. As a result, the meeting broke down into discussions on various unrelated topics. ”
